Rya is a private Mansion combing luxury & authenticity at the highest point of Fira with views of the Caldera and the Aegean Sea
Decorated with an elegant and modern mood, a few antique furniture and a significant collection of authentic gravures representing different aspects and old maps of the island offer a finishing touch. Architecturally the house has a unique neoclassical style. Domes, arches, thick walls and vaulted roofs compose the distinguished geometry and the form of the building. Natural respiring lime colors are used to paint the walls indoors and outdoors, while all wooden door and window frames are paint with ecological paints. The Mansion is consisted of the main house, and two guest units. The main house consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a WC, fully equipped kitchen, living & dining room. The master bedroom is on the ground floor with queen size bed and en suite bathroom with a cyclical bathtub made out of off-white polished cement, combined with sky-blue plaster on the walls. The bedroom has a vaulted ceiling with fan and solar chimney. The second bedroom is also on the ground floor with a queen size bed, wardrobe and en suite bath-room with shower. It is ventilated with ceiling fan and solar chimney. The third bedroom is located on the upper floor the with an undisturbed view to-wards the Volcano. It has a queen size bed with A+ air conditioning system. A fully equipped kitchen, dining & sitting rooms are on the ground floor. The dining room has a wooden table and chairs of medieval Spanish style enough for 8 to 10 persons. At the stylish and comfortable living area you can relax in front of the marble fireplace and enjoy the views of Fira and the Caldera. The Mansion offers to its guests enormous outdoor dining & living areas in a private terrace and a spacious outdoor Jacuzzi overlooking the Aegean Sea. The studio with its own private entrance lies on the same level of the main house and has its own veranda. It can accommodate up to two persons with a bathroom and a kitchenette.
